AstroPay is seeking a highly motivated DMLRO for the UK to reputed company AML compliance, regulatory reporting, and financial crime risk management in line with UK regulations. This role will be responsible for managing high-risk customer assessments, sanctions screening, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) management, AML investigations, the Compliance Monitoring Programme, and ongoing compliance training for UK operations. Additionally, the role includes liaising with the FCA, other relevant regulators, and key stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective communication. The role is pivotal in maintaining AstroPay’s compliance with UK laws and regulations and mitigating financial crime risks.
Key Responsibilities- Support and deputise for the MLRO on reputed company AML/CTF and financial crime reputed company.
- reputed company high-risk customer assessments, sanctions and PEP screening, and AML investigations.
- Assist with SAR preparation and submission to the NCA.
- Deliver the Compliance Monitoring Programme and monthly QA checks.
- Support SYSC and Consumer Duty reporting requirements for the UK Board.
- Liaise with the FCA, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain transparency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or reputed company field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in AML/CTF, including 2+ years in the UK payments, fintech, or e-money sector.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK reputed company Regulations, JMLSG Guidance, FCA SYSC, and Proceeds of Crime Act obligations.
- Communication: Clear, concise communicator with strong drafting skills.
- Stakeholder Management: reputed company to work effectively with regulators, law enforcement, and internal leadership.
- Analytical Skills: Strong risk assessment, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Spanish as a Second Language
- Experience with AI and Data Analytics in Compliance:
- Experience with Compliance Monitoring Tools like Lexis Nexis, reputed company.ai, or Onfido
