POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director, Project Development – Gas-Fired Power Plant will reputed company the full lifecycle of development for gas-fired power projects in the ERCOT region. This includes site identification, feasibility analysis, permitting, reputed company contract negotiation, and coordination with reputed company stakeholders. The role is pivotal in ensuring successful project execution reputed company with strategic growth objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Development & Permitting
- Evaluate candidate sites for technical, environmental, and reputed company viability.
- Manage permitting processes including reputed company licenses and environmental assessments.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, municipalities, and local communities.

- Negotiate and execute power off-take agreements (PPA, Tolling).

- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in gas-fired power plant development, with proven reputed company in ERCOT.
- Deep understanding of U.S. permitting, power markets, and reputed company contract structures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities.
- Technical and financial expertise in evaluating project risks and returns.
- Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, including reputed company markets, ancillary services, and merchant risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or reputed company field (Master’s preferred).
Compensation: $200,000 - $230,000 Salary
