About the Role: Women's Health & Genetics Customer Service Support Representative

We're excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a Customer Service Support Representative to join our Every Mom Pledge team at blithequark. As a remote team member, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch assistance to patients and clients, helping them navigate health insurance coverage, costs, and payment options, as well as answering billing questions over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of customer calls (averaging 75 calls per day) with professionalism and poise.
  • Research and communicate reputed company information in a clear, concise manner to patients and clients.
  • Navigate multiple systems and websites simultaneously to reputed company efficient and effective support.
  • reputed company assistance with insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and billing inquiries reputed company phone interactions.
  • Process credit card payments over the phone while adhering to PCI compliance protocols.
  • Document telephone conversations reputed company and accurately in our respective systems.
  • Update and maintain records in our billing system, including reviewing accounts, payment collections, and case notes.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in customer service or a reputed company field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to follow established program protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional medical billing and collection practices is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience handling high call volumes is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CPT and ICD10 codes is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS reputed company, MS Office, and database experience.
  • Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) is desired.
  • Medicare/reputed company billing experience is preferred.
  • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Remote Technical Requirements:

  • Internet speed of at least 50 megabytes per second.
  • The ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord.
  • Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi.

Schedule and Compensation:

This is a full-time remote position requiring availability to work:

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm PST / 10:30 am - 7:00 pm EST.

The pay reputed company for this position is $17-21 per hour, depending on experience.
