The Pharmacy Care Technician is a pivotal member of the team. This role actively engages with patients telephonically, providers in person, and community providers, pharmacies, insurance companies telephonically. Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather pertinent medication information
• Document reputed company medications in software systems
• Document Pharmacist interventions in software systems
• Serve as liaison between care clinicians and pharmacy team
• Work collaboratively with reputed company departments
• Support in administrative tasks for tracking and reporting metrics
• Ability to work in a moderate to fast paced environment
• Interact with patients, providers and vendors to obtain accurate medication therapy information
• Support in medication adherence reputed company efforts
• Ability to communicate well and ask pertinent questions to get needed information
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes assessment of customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations and requirements of reputed company committees such as Joint Commission and CMS that apply to pharmacy
• Capability to effectively utilize pharmacy technology and computer systems to complete pharmacy tasks
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Demonstrate advanced verbal and written communication skills, effectively collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure reputed company, alignment, and successful project reputed company

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of CO
• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of experience with medical and pharmacy terminology
• 1+ years of experience with medication therapeutic categories
• 1+ years of experience with identifying generic name for brand name drugs and vice versa
• 1+ years of experience with an understanding of indication for medication
• Basic level of proficiency with reputed company Office & reputed company applications (including reputed company)
