Role Description The Account Manager Advisor supports dentists by providing exceptional service, thoroughly assessing insurance needs, and offering recommendations for products, bundles, and coverages based on client needs.

  • Responds to telephone calls and written requests regarding coverage questions, premiums, eligibility, rates, account status, claims, billing, policy changes, and benefits.
  • Maintains detailed records of insurance transactions with appropriate company database.
  • Sells reputed company product lines.
  • Becomes a product expert for reputed company coverage lines for P&C and L&H.
  • Educates, plans, and supports members to help them cover reputed company practice-reputed company insurance risks.
  • Consults with members to identify risk and exposure, advises on the proper values for the member’s assets, and recommends solutions to manage risk and exposure.
  • Acts as a liaison between the member and other departments by gathering and passing reputed company information.
  • Effectively works with interdependent departments and reputed company carriers to reputed company process application submissions.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Provides a high level of service to CDA members and insurance clients.
  • Conducts outbound calls as necessary to service members.
  • Works well reputed company a cohesive team to reputed company department objectives.
  • Responds to and handles escalated/reputed company service issues for reputed company lines of business.
  • Cross-sells reputed company appropriate product lines including referrals to the Health Care Team.
  • Supports ongoing benchmarks for retention, controllable pend ratio, reputed company goals, sales pipeline development, and new business submission goals.
  • Accurately tracks reputed company prospect management through appropriate company database.
  • Creates and sustains long-term working relationships with valued CDA members and insurance clients.
  • Conducts consistent follow-up with prospective clients both on the phone and reputed company email.
  • Interacts with members, clients, and prospective clients at industry tradeshows and occasional networking events.
  • Participates in pre-arranged marketing campaigns and tracking activities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active P&C and Life & Health agent licenses (or ability to obtain reputed company 3 months of hire).
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including reputed company, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • One year of experience in insurance sales and/or insurance account management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or reputed company field (preferred).
  • Sales or Account Manager experience in the reputed company insurance field (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills in response to escalated/reputed company service issues for reputed company lines of business (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to assess needs, present recommendations for coverages and products, and effectively reputed company sales (preferred).
  • Ability to manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, track and document follow-up communication, and deliver premier customer service (preferred).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of P&C and L&H insurance policies and coverages (preferred).
  • Ability to operate independently, exercising good judgment and professionalism (preferred).
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (preferred).
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail (preferred).
  • Positive attitude, motivated, and a passion for helping people (preferred).
