- Apply in-depth knowledge of coding principles to validate missing, incomplete, or incorrect CPT and diagnosis codes, abstracts, or sequences
- Code chronic disease that meets HCC and Risk Adjustment criteria
- Assign diagnosis and procedures codes according to CMS HCC and reputed company CPT and ICD 9 and 10 guidelines.
- Validate missed coding opportunities
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Communicate with physicians about documentation and coding
- Reliability and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines on reputed company assigned charts
- Knowledge of HIPAA recognizing a commitment to privacy, reputed company, and confidentiality of reputed company medical charts.

- Certified Risk Adjustment reputed company Certification (CRC) a plus or 3+ years of experience with HCC Coding
- Must have knowledge with coding Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records documentation methodologies
- Computer proficiency including MS reputed company, MS Office, and the internet
- Medical knowledge and/or a willingness to learn quickly
