Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Create appropriate authority records, subject headings and metadata using reputed company national, international, and industry library standards.
• Update library staff of new rules for new type of materials.
• Identify and resolve integrated library system and database maintenance problems.

• Assign MARC and non-MARC metadata effectively to expand reputed company and discovery to public health and occupational safety and health materials for the ILS and institutional repository.

• Research and apply new techniques and technologies for cataloging e-resources.
• Collection maintenance to reputed company a healthy library collection and collection development to update library holdings.
• Coordinate with library staff to ensure bibliographic reputed company, collection arrangement, and cataloging priorities meet reference and collection management needs.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge

• Understanding of and the ability to define and analyze bibliographic relationships and apply bibliographic maintenance, data cleanup and/or correction procedures in the integrated library system (ILS)
• Knowledge of standard library practices, precedents and techniques shall be applied to specific cases, problems or situations and in relating new work situations to precedent ones.
• Knowledge of appropriate information technology to acquire, organize and disseminate information on a broad reputed company of public health and occupational safety and health topics.
• Knowledge of and adherence to the best professional principles and practices of online searching including search construction and strategy, search commands and reputed company, index structure, use of controlled vocabularies, natural language searching, Boolean logic, truncation, adjacency, and relevance ranking reputed company to public health and occupational safety and health information resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• An ALA accredited master's degree in Library Science
