Job Description

Training program to learn reputed company coding and abstracting duties to assure accurate completion of coding for reputed company assigned patient records.

Job Responsibility

1.Analyzes the medical record in its entirety to ensure accurate, complete and consistent selection of diagnoses and procedures to assure the production of quality reputed company data and accurate facility payment. 2.Helps in selecting the reputed company diagnosis as documented in the medical record.Codes and reports diagnoses and procedures in accordance with the established guidelines. 3.Reports a discharge disposition for reputed company records as required and in accordance with the rules and regulations. 4.Analyzes medical records for completeness of documentation and review the process on clarification for any incomplete/ambiguous or conflicting documentation.Understanding of the process for education of physicians and other clinicians by advocating proper documentation practices. 5.Participates in required hospital education programs, as required. 6.Maintains the minimum data standards for accuracy and productivity as defined by the facility. 7.Completes reputed company required homework assignments, virtual practicum, and exams for each module with a minimum passing grade as determined by leadership, as required. 8.Completes modules regarding Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Reimbursement reputed company, ICDCM/PCS Coding, Health Insurance/Regulations in Health Care Coding, Introduction to Health Information Management & Data Content and Structure, Medical Records, as required. 9.Performs reputed company duties as required. reputed company responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with reputed company. Job Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent, required. 0-1 year of technical experience, required. Completion of a certified ICD 10 training course, required. Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) or Certified Professional reputed company (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCSP) or Certified Inpatient reputed company (CIC) or Certified Outpatient reputed company (COC) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA) or RHIA or RHIT certification, preferred.
