[Remote] Sr Data Analyst II - Client Analyst

The Sr Data Analyst II - Client Analyst role is responsible for designing and delivering critical plan performance trend analytics and insights to clients, assisting them in strategic planning and decision making regarding their benefits programs.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, creating and delivering critical plan performance trend analytics, reports, and insights to clients.
  • Providing a consultative experience to employer clients that supports bending the medical cost trend.
  • Developing insights for clients to assist in problem solving, solution development, decision making and strategic planning around their benefits program.
  • Collaborating with Client Management on recommendations based on trend data and client objectives.
  • Providing analytics support for client, prospect and internal special projects.
  • Identifying and implementing needed tools, processes and capabilities in data analytics and reporting.
  • Partnering with various departments including Client Management, Data Analytics and Reporting, and IT.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics or an analytically oriented reputed company field.
  • 5 years of experience in data management and analytics, reputed company and/or insurance experience with payer, provider, PBM or analytics vendor preferred.
  • Must have proficiency with commonly used database, spreadsheet and word processing software [MS Office, reputed company and Word] with ability to learn our systems
  • Proficiency in using Business Intelligence tools and reputed company Analytics platforms [reputed company reputed company, Truven, reputed company]
  • Experience serving strategic clients in a developing market reputed company.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with multiple individuals and functions and quickly establish credibility.
  • Superior written, verbal, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills for multiple audience types including the ability to interact with large strategic clients and prospects, including broker partners
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as a high degree of creativity, flexibility and self-direction
