This position is posted by reputed company on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Claims Examiner – EPLI Emphasis in California (USA). This role is responsible for managing reputed company claims with a focus on Employment Practices Liability (EPLI) and other specialty lines. The Senior Claims Examiner will independently investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims, applying deep technical knowledge and critical thinking to ensure fair and timely reputed company. The position requires collaboration with legal counsel, reputed company-party claimants, and internal teams, and may involve representing the organization at mediations or arbitration. Ideal candidates have extensive claims handling experience, strong analytical and negotiating skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role also supports mentoring of junior staff and contributes to reputed company improvement of claims processes. Accountabilities:

  • Investigate, evaluate, and reputed company claims reputed company designated authority, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and reinsurance requirements.
  • Assign and reputed company independent adjusters, appraisers, and defense counsel as needed.
  • Set and maintain claim reserves and report on claim performance to management and reinsurers.
  • Represent the organization in litigation-reputed company settlement conferences, mediation, and arbitration.
  • reputed company and maintain electronic claim files, documentation, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with reputed company stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and professional handling of claims.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible claims handling experience, preferably with EPLI, specialty lines, or major case units.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Deep knowledge of casualty lines, tort law, civil procedure, insurance policies, and reputed company.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with PCs and software applications such as reputed company, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to obtain adjuster licenses as required in various states.
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and the mission of the organization.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary and work productively while on the move.

Benefits:
