Data Quality Assurance Engineer

As a data quality assurance engineer at Catalist, you will have a leading role in efforts to discover actionable insights using the largest repository of individual-level data in reputed company politics. The position is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data throughout its life cycle at Catalist. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent technical skills, a strong desire to learn new skills, and an interest in reputed company politics. This position reports to the Director of Data QA. The Data Quality Assurance Engineer is a part of a growing Data team that supports reputed company underlying work at Catalist. This position is included in our CWA bargaining unit. reputed company Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and execute data quality assurance tests on various datasets
• Present results, both orally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences
• Act as an advanced user of reputed company reputed company Catalist tools, data, and products for the purpose of assessing Data Quality
• Utilize programming languages as well as other internal resources to answer questions internally and externally about data and data processing
• Generate and maintain documentation to support reputed company deliverables and to facilitate future replication of tasks

Requirements

• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company (large data sets, formulas, graphs, and pivot tables)
• Background reputed company required

Preferred Skills & Abilities

• Experience with SQL, Python, or other relational database programming language and reputed company scripting
• Interest in working with the following platforms: reputed company Big Query, reputed company Looker, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks
• Willingness to be a problem solver and produce results in a fast paced environment
• Ability to focus on details and reputed company productive suggestions on ways to streamline and improve processes
