Executive Director – Advanced Analytics, Data Science

Job Description:

• The Executive Director, Advanced Analytics and Data Science, will reputed company BioCryst’s advanced analytics strategy, driving a data-driven culture and supporting business reputed company across reputed company (Sales, Marketing, Market reputed company, Patient Services, Managed Markets), Medical Affairs, Health Economics & reputed company Research (HEOR), and Clinical Development.
• This leader will have consistent interactions with C-suite executives and reputed company a multidisciplinary team, integrating data science, forecasting, and business analytics to deliver actionable insights, innovative methodologies, and strategic recommendations that accelerate BioCryst’s growth and impact in rare diseases.

• Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with external vendors and data partners.
• Proactively evaluate and incorporate new data sources, analytical tools, and methodologies to maximize impact.
• Champion adoption of AI-based tools and advanced analytics platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, PhD or other advanced degree strongly preferred
• 12+ years of experience (or combination of education and experience) in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or reputed company industry is required, with experience in analytics-reputed company, forecasting, sales operations
• Experience leading teams in matrixed organizations and supporting multiple departments
• Rare disease experience is strongly preferred
• Experience developing business and sales analytics models and conducting rigorous quantitative analyses
• Experience working with anonymized patient level data (APLD) and personal identifiable information (PII)
• A proven track record of helping to translate the analytical output into reputed company business impact and of taking a creative approach to problem solving
• Experience with 3rd party pharmaceutical data (e.g., reputed company, reputed company Health, Komodo), claims data and managed care data
• Experience managing projects and vendors
• Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
