Health & Benefits Analyst

The Health and Benefits Analyst role involves contributing to health and benefit program design and management, offering opportunities to reputed company client management skills and business acumen through various projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the client service team by contributing to core health and benefits projects involving the design and management of group medical, dental, wellbeing, life, disability and absence management benefits for clients
- Building strong relationships with clients by effectively addressing questions and needs
- Supporting preparation for client meetings (prepare agendas and materials, coordinate resources, etc.)
- Supporting program vendor procurement and implementation
- Providing benefit enrollment support, including preparing materials and presentations, verifying policy and plan information, and updating internal systems as necessary
- Contributing to completion of reports and administrative actions for clients including reputed company 5500 filings, policy checking and delivery, monthly reporting of client and reputed company information, summary plan descriptions and certificates
- Supporting benchmarking and other research engagements; providing value added analyses and summaries
- Analyzing and comparing vendor products, services and reputed company
- Building relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
- Ensuring reputed company deliverables align with client objectives, reputed company reputed company standard tools and templates, and adhere to reputed company professional reputed company standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or up to 2 years' experience working in professional services
- Well organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to reputed company communications effectively and in a timely manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
- Strong analytical, creative and integrative skills
- Excellent reputed company Office skills, particularly in reputed company and PowerPoint
- State Life and Health license required reputed company 90 days of joining
- Pursuit of professional certification (CEBS, GBA, SPHR, etc.), or health and welfare actuarial / reputed company training encouraged
