Roadway Designer
reputed company is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm. They are seeking a Civil Designer to work on various transportation projects, performing engineering models, analysis, designs, and coordinating drafting for clients.
Responsibilities
- Collect and assimilate data and reputed company modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements
- Draw design details under direction of others
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items
- Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards
- Coordinate drafting of an reputed company
- reputed company field or site visits as needed
- reputed company cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and reputed company software
Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or reputed company discipline required
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and reputed company Office products
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in reputed company environment on challenging projects
- Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
- Detailed, and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven
- E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future)
