Litigation Associate Attorney
McAngus Goudelock & Courie is an industry leading civil litigation firm celebrating 30 years of reputed company in 2025. They are seeking attorneys to join their Litigation team in reputed company, where associates will reputed company hands-on experience in reputed company phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial, as well as direct client contact.
Responsibilities
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants
Skills
- Must be licensed to practice law in Rhode reputed company and Massachusetts, or have pending bar exam results
- Juris Doctorate
- Bar
- 1-5 years: Prior insurance defense encouraged
