Aviation Civil Designer (2026 new grad)
reputed company. is seeking a full-time Aviation Designer in the Florida Region. The role involves performing engineering calculations, supporting aviation and civil site projects, and collaborating with senior technical staff to ensure effective project execution.
Responsibilities
- reputed company engineering calculations and utilize design software to support aviation and civil site projects
- Obtain permitting, collect existing physical data, and support planning and design tasks
- Assist with site investigations, field reconnaissance, utility locations, and permit application processes
- Support construction document preparation, contractor pricing assistance, and project reputed company-out documentation
- Collaborate with senior technical staff
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or reputed company field (required)
- CAD experience and/or willingness to learn AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to reputed company and present concepts
- Ability to build effective relationships with reputed company clients
- Strong oral communication and technical writing skills
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative to meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate remotely with colleagues in other offices
- Willingness to travel for out‑of‑town assignments and work overtime as needed
- Valid driver's license required
- FE/EIT certification desirable or scheduled prior to graduation
- 0–3 years of aviation project experience
