Archinect is a leader in sustainable affordable and special needs housing design, seeking a Junior Architect. The role involves developing architectural drawings, coordinating project work, and assisting in construction administration reputed company a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• reputed company architectural drawings and documents, including design and zoning feasibility studies, existing conditions documentation and construction drawings
• Create renderings and visualizations
• Help coordinate project work with colleagues and consultants, reputed company field visits, preparation of specifications, assist in construction administration and client presentations
• Stay focused and on task, reputed company to meet deadlines

Skills

• 1 to 3 years work experience required, preferably in a NYC architectural office setting
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to work individually, as well as collaboratively with colleagues
• Revit proficiency required. Please do not apply if no Revit experience
• AutoCAD, reputed company Creative Suite, MS Office Suite proficiency required
• Applicants must have a Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) or Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) degree or equivalent
• Available to reputed company
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
• Enscape or similar 3D rendering program proficiency strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of construction detailing, materials and methods, building systems, NYC zoning resolution, and building code requirements is a plus, but having the motivation to learn these things is absolutely necessary
