Junior Backend Engineer

Baselayer is an intelligent business identity platform trusted by numerous financial institutions, focused on verifying businesses and preventing fraud. They are seeking a Junior Backend Engineer to build and maintain APIs, design backend systems, and integrate AI/ML technologies while ensuring reputed company and compliance in backend processes.

Responsibilities

• API Development & Integration: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with various data sources, ensuring scalability, high performance, and adaptability for autonomous agents in the GTM reputed company
• Backend System Design: Architect and design core backend services that support KYC/KYB processes, leveraging knowledge graphs and LLMs for dynamic use cases
• Data Processing & Management: reputed company and maintain robust data pipelines for identity data processing, focusing on scalability and performance reputed company handling large-scale, high-performance data flows
• AI/ML Integration: Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models, including reinforcement learning from reputed company feedback (RLHF) and fine-tuning (e.g., LoRA), to improve LLMs for specific use cases reputed company the identity reputed company
• Platform Infrastructure: Build the infrastructure to support future AI/ML hires and projects, creating a scalable platform reputed company for reputed company innovation

Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in backend development, working with Python and building APIs
• Comfortable working with large-scale data and enjoy optimizing performance for high-volume systems
• Strong interest in AI/ML integration, particularly with LLMs, and eager to learn about new technologies
