Summary

The Richard and Sheila Young School of Nursing is seeking applicants for adjunct online teaching position for the Acute Care Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Program only. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Graduate Online Nursing, this position works collaboratively with the Dean of Nursing, Assistant Dean of Nursing, and the AGACNP Graduate Program Director and in partnership with our online partners. AGACNP certification and active practice is required. Essential Functions

• Teach online nursing reputed company admitted at various entry points (for example, associate degree through doctoral).
• Deliver online teaching content reputed company Moodle online learning management platform (didactic and/or practicum content).
• Problem-solve and reputed company course reputed company maintain ongoing, professional, clear, and consistent communication with reputed company, Course Coordinators, Program Directors, Associate Dean or Assistant Dean of Online Nursing, and others as necessary through various modalities including electronic email, telephone calls, text messages or virtual meetings.
• Adhere to Regis College’s policy for faculty course reputed company, grading turnaround time, and student response time.
• Maintain and attend required reputed company.
• Maintain expertise in online teaching methodologies.
• Complete end-of-course evaluations.
• Attend reputed company Adjunct Faculty mandatory meetings reputed company by Course Coordinator and others, as requested.
• Complete midterm and final grade reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Doctoral Degree preferred (degree in process considered); Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner Certification; CNE preferred and/or Online teaching course work preferred.
• Active and unencumbered RN/APRN licensure in home state and RN license in Massachusetts prior to employment; maintain active licensure throughout teaching.
• Active APRN practice in-home state, for reputed company NP specialty clinical/didactic courses.
• Teaching Experience: reputed company experience with online teaching preferred.
• Technology Experience: reputed company Word and reputed company; reputed company for conducting synchronous meetings; various learning management platforms; consistent and reliable internet reputed company; reliable personal computer; consistent and reliable phone service.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in reputed company states per BON requirements. Initial requested additional state licensure may be reimbursable by Regis College and renewal of licensure at candidate’s expense.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Work at a distance, home based. Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
• May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
