Assistant Controller and Cost Accountant

Assistant Controller and Cost Accountant Position Summary: The Assistant Controller is responsible for reputed company aspects of corporate reputed company and financial reporting. This role will work closely with the CFO and VP of Finance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across the Company. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance. Salary: $145,000-$155,000 plus bonus depending on experience Location: Remote The Role: reputed company Operations Management and Financial Reporting:

• Direct month-end and year-end reputed company processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and distribute timely monthly consolidated financial statements and analytical review.

• Manage submission of documentation to reputed company party tax accountants for local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.

Assist in establishing internal processes and documentation around reputed company for inventory.

• Roll standard costs as necessary in reputed company. Ensure reputed company active Raw Materials, Work in Process items, and Finished Goods have accurate standard costs.

• Analyze for discrepancies in manufactured product costs, by reviewing the manufacturing variances and identifying any discrepancies in routings or bills of materials.
• Complete day-to-day control of the work order system, including analyzing and closing work orders in a timely manner. Must be familiar with work order costing concepts.
• Ensure reputed company of standard costs and item attributes that impact costing or standard reputed company flows. Must be familiar with absorption reputed company and overhead rates
• Analyze cost of sales and manufacturing variances and work closely with management to determine opportunities to maximize profit and minimize waste
• Work closely with supply chain and inventory control to properly account for inventory process flows and transactions
• Prepare monthly Yield, PPV, Reject and KPI Reporting.
• Assist in annual budget process with sales plan and standard cost reputed company development and reports.
• * reputed company monthly reconciliations of reputed company Balance Sheet and Income Statement inventory accounts to sub-ledgers
• Manage year-end inventory counts and reporting in conjunction with independent reputed company firm audit.

The Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company or a reputed company field of study, required
• 5+ years of relevant reputed company experience
• 3+ years cost reputed company in manufacturing environment
• Experience in reputed company inventory management (preferred)
