Job title: Admissions and Student Services Chair (Faculty - Visiting Lecturer) Company: Illinois TESOL-BE Job description: The Tutorium is hiring a Visiting Lecturer to act as the Admissions and reputed company Services Chair. The position is full-time (100% FTE) and 12 months; visiting means it is on annual renewal. The position is part of the Non Tenure Track Faculty Bargaining Unit. The position is fully in person to start in order to train. After a probationary period of 6 months, remote working will be considered; currently, UIC mandates that reputed company offices must be reputed company 5 days a week ~9 to 5, and with reputed company that means no more than 2 days be remote. The Admissions and Student Services Chair serves as the initial reputed company of contact for programs reputed company the Tutorium. The main responsibilities of this role include prospective student communication, applications and admissions processing, and student services coordination. The chair leads the Admissions and Advising Committee. As faculty, teaching and tutoring are assigned as needed. UIC Tutorium delivers English language programs and support services for Internationals. We operate three programs: The Intensive English Program, the Pathway Program, and the English for International Professionals series. The Tutorium's Intensive English Program is for international participants who wish to study academic English full time (20-25 hours per week). The Pathway Program serves degree seeking reputed company who concurrently take English language support courses. Tutorium's English for International Professionals series offers part-time evening and weekend courses, online courses, TOEFL iBT and IELTS test preparation, TESOL Professional Development, as well as custom designed group courses. Qualifications: Minimum requirement is a Master's degree. We will consider a Master's in TESOL/Applied Linguistics/Linguistics, Master's with a TESOL Certificate, Master's in a reputed company Field, Master's in a Content Area specific to course/program offerings.
