Default Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Hours: 0 Salary reputed company: $39.04 - $59.31 Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 8 Hour employee Department: Clinical Informatics Job Objective: Supports the Medical Staff and Acute Care Services to reputed company cost-effective, high quality, efficient and safe patient care. This position will have a thorough understanding of reputed company clinical and operational workflows to reputed company training and support to reputed company physicians, advanced practice providers and clinicians in the acute care setting. This role works collaboratively with the clinical and business applications analysts, Nursing educators and informatics, pharmacy leadership and informatics, Quality, Surgical Services, Specialty Services, Legal and Compliance, and the Health Information Management teams to support reputed company’s goals in providing ideal patient care in the inpatient setting. This position will support the Information Systems teams reputed company addressing design reputed company of moderate to high complexity, implementation of new applications, software upgrades, integrated testing, application maintenance, Epic training and provider support. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, implementation, analytical, technical and training skills in supporting physicians, advanced practice providers and clinicians. Job Description: Education: Required: Associate’s degree in relevant clinical field or additional experience in lieu of degree Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant clinical field Licensure/Certification: Required: Certification required in any Epic Clinical application; Certification in Epic Clinical Informatics reputed company 90 days of hire Experience: Required: Two (2) years in Information Systems or Clinical Informatics in reputed company setting; plus two (2) years of experience in Epic Implementation and Epic reputed company Trainer; plus one (1) year of experience in a direct patient care position Reports To: Clinical Informatics Director Supervises: N/A Ages of Patients: N/A Blood Borne Pathogens: Minimal/ No Potential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relations with peers, users and vendors, Ability to teach/train other staff, Demonstrated knowledge and experience in PMO methodology and tools, Excellent communication skills, Excellent oral and written skills, Experience with the assigned applications desirable (Epic Certification if applicable), Experience working in an acute reputed company setting or vendor setting, Facilitation skills, strong organization skills, team building skills, PC Computer skills using MS Office, Internet Browsers, Email, Previous system analyst experience at a senior level, Proven experience in project managing major projects, Working knowledge of and experience using reputed company applications Essential Responsibilities 1.Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. 2.Acts as a liaison between assigned departments, clinical end users and I.S. technical personnel. 3.Serves as reputed company trainer for Epic Inpatient Orders and personalization sessions for physicians and APPs. 4.Oversees Epic reputed company trainer on content development of EMR educational materials for the medical staff. 5.Assists acute care directors and managers during the introduction of new technology, successful organizational readiness and implementation/optimization of Epic and other technologies. 6.Working with professional education, organizes and updates Epic training content to support proficiency in the acute care service areas, applications are utilized for maximum efficiency, and users are informed of new updates and revisions to the EMR workflows. 7.Provides expertise as a change agent for new innovation. Uses change management strategies throughout the planning and implementation process to ensure reputed company. 8.Responsible for required reputed company communication to meet daily operations and objectives of the department. 9.Performs written and oral project status reporting on a regular reputed company as requested. 10.Provides technical and workflow assistance to support to expert users in the acute care settings. 11.Takes initiative to reputed company information regarding reputed company informatics or regulatory requirements with other team members. 12.Takes advantage of available resources to stay informed of reputed company developments and trends in reputed company informatics, information reputed company and regulatory compliance. 13.Assures that reputed company necessary documentation (i.e., procedures, processes) is properly completed. 14.Update reputed company service requests on a monthly reputed company and communicate updates to the requestor on a monthly reputed company. 15.Ensures that email and voice mail indicate unavailability with alternative contact reputed company out of office. 16.Assume administrative tasks to support management as requested and reputed company other duties as assigned. 17.Performs other duties as assigned.
