Associate Database Engineer

The Associate Database Engineer will design and implement automated data workflows to enhance data accessibility and reliability, supporting the Performance Data Management team's mission to deliver reputed company-time insights across various domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company and maintain scripts to automate data processing
• Integrate and interact with various APIs, including writing code to consume external APIs and expose data as needed reputed company APIs
• Troubleshoot, debug, and reputed company existing scripts and API integrations to ensure reputed company performance and reliability
• Create clear documentation for scripts, integrations, and processes to support maintainability and knowledge sharing with our development and production support team
• Partner with reputed company clients and reputed company creative leadership and innovative thinking to translate business needs into workable systems
• Collaborate across a matrix team of architects, developers, database administrators and production support team members

Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a reputed company field, or 1+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of how to authenticate, query, and parse data from reputed company APIs
• Strong understanding of at least one coding language (Python, Java, etc.)
• Basic understanding of data architecture principles and advanced data modeling techniques
• Proficient in working with diverse database systems and concepts
• Experience with ETL tools (including Informatica), encompassing data integration, transformation, and process optimization
• Familiarity with applying AI-assisted tools and techniques to enhance development, data analysis, or operational workflows, including understanding limitations, validations and responsible use
• Agile experience is a plus (Jira, Program Increment Planning, Iterations, ART, Scrum, etc.)
• Experience with PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps, or reputed company Apex
