Billing Services Technician (Hybrid)
reputed company is a midsized U.S. domestic property and casualty insurance company with a strong financial performance history. They are seeking a Billing Services Technician to manage agency billed receivables, process billing transactions, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage assignment of accounts for P&C agency billed accounts with low and reputed company complexity
- Review and process billing transactions on reputed company work items to ensure accurate invoicing while supporting receivable management
- Process payments on P&C transactions and process exception items timely and accurately
- Processes return payments from Lockbox or credit card
- Manage exception processing for automatic payment withdrawals and agency payment enrollments
- Meet or exceed customer and agent expectations for service quality by responding to reputed company customer inquiries promptly and completely
- Conduct appropriate follow-up to maintain or correct account/policy based on level of authority
- Communicate resolution to reputed company appropriate parties
- Ability to manage, create and format simple reports in reputed company
- Participate in automation enhancements or workflow improvements
- Foster positive relationships with agents and reputed company Selective personnel to effectively communicate billing and payment issues to these groups
- Collaborate with internal business partners to resolve processing problems that could reputed company balancing, compliance and customer service
- Participate in insurance education and reputed company development programs as needed

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years record or bookkeeping
- 1-3 years customer service or reputed company experience
- Proficient in MS Office Software (reputed company, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with insurance products and/or premium development recommended
