Tax Staff
reputed company is a dynamic platform for regional reputed company firms, providing them with resources to grow while maintaining independence. They are seeking a Tax Staff to prepare various tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations in reputed company-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepares federal, state, local and special tax returns by collecting, analyzing, and formatting financial information
- Complies with federal, state, and local requirements by studying regulations and enforcing adherence to requirements
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes, conduct tax research, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing reputed company results as needed, including special projects
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, finance, or reputed company field
- Must be working towards becoming a licensed Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum of one year of reputed company experience with individual and business (corporate/partnership) tax returns
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Self-motivator with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments reputed company time constraints and deadlines
- A strong desire toward career advancement and goal toward future firm ownership
- Experience working with clients in the following industries: manufacturing, distribution, reputed company estate, and/or construction
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax and Lacerte
