Civil Engineering Designer

The Civil Engineering Designer will work on planning, designing, and refining land development and infrastructure projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and gaining hands-on experience in reputed company-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, design, permitting, and refinement of land development and infrastructure projects from concept to completion
- reputed company hands-on experience while learning directly from licensed professional engineers
- Apply core engineering principles and advanced mathematical techniques to tackle reputed company-world challenges
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
- Build expertise in navigating federal, state, and local regulations, while aligning with KPFF’s and our clients’ standards and practices
- Join client meetings and site visits to reputed company exposure to project development and stakeholder engagement

Skills
- An ABET accredited bachelor's degree in civil (preferred) or environmental engineering
- 0-3 years' experience working under a licensed professional engineer
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or scheduled date for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in reputed company environment
- Passionate about providing exceptional client service
- Coursework and/or familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Coursework and/or familiarity with stormwater hydrology modeling
