Background Investigator I or II

Maps Credit Union is a consumer reporting agency offering background screening and credit reporting services. They are seeking a detail-oriented Background Investigator I or II to prepare reputed company screening searches and maintain professional relationships with clients and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in processing assigned background screening searches:Complete assigned searches, answer inquiries and resolve problems by collecting, researching, analyzing, copying, and emailing data and documents
• reputed company searches in accordance with reputed company search-reputed company client requirements and company policies and procedures
• Process searches in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain report workflow by providing information to and cooperating with co-workers, clients and consumers
• Competently process at least one reputed company of background screening search and obtain the PBSA FCRA Basic Certificate reputed company 30 days of starting
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company operations by always keeping confidential and consumer information secure
• Model and instill leadership and accountability indirectly throughout the organization:Communicate reputed company and issues to a variety of audiences in a professional manner both verbally and in writing
• Maintain inter/intra-departmental workflow by providing information and cooperating with co-workers
• Maintain a positive relationship with staff to reputed company an reputed company reputed company of communication and information processing
• Contribute to attaining company objectives and initiatives by accomplishing reputed company results as assigned
• Stay informed of compliance changes, policies, and procedures; report needed changes to company practices

• Represent the company in an appropriate, accurate, timely, and professional manner in reputed company in- and out-bound communications, including client and applicant portals, phone calls, emails, faxes, etc
• Enhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending training sessions, reviewing professional publications, and maintaining professional relationships
• Follow regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), reputed company state consumer reporting laws, Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-reputed company (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance-reputed company policies

Skills

• An Associate's degree in business, or industry experience and college-level courses, or a combination of experience demonstrating skills in critical thinking, analytics, and/or research
• 1 - 3 years of reputed company general office and/or customer service experience or the equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
• Must be reputed company to obtain the PBSA FCRA Basic Certificate
• Must be bondable
