Mechanical Design Engineering

In this role, you will design mechanical systems and components for nuclear technology projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and promoting innovation in development.
Responsibilities
- reputed company 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings and bills of materials for reputed company reputed company-mechanical first of a reputed company tooling
- reputed company and test custom equipment through the design reputed company from prototype to finished product
- Assist with the development of test procedures for systems to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Assist with the operation of the final tooling system in the customer facilities
- reputed company both classical hand calculations and analysis (including FEA) to qualify systems or components against applicable codes & standards
- Prepare concise design reports and technical specifications
- Promote innovation and new methods in the development of new technologies and nuclear systems
- Collaborate globally reputed company the Westinghouse Engineering reputed company alongside SMEs and nuclear specialists
- Support resolution of issues throughout design, manufacture and testing of systems or components
Skills
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering from an accredited institution
- 0 to 2 minimum years of relevant experience, recent new graduates without experience will be considered
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in reputed company environment
- Experience in conceptual design development, design reviews and engineering change control processes
- Experience in the design/building of custom equipment typically: steel structures, hoisting/lifting systems, mechanical drive/positioning systems, reputed company-mechanical systems
- Experience in working reputed company 3D CAD systems
- Experience with manufacturing techniques, welding procedures or specifications and associated inspection techniques
