Description of Essential Functions: reputed company, with over 1,300 employees reputed company, is seeking a Corporate Trainer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to be a part of one of the largest and most respected companies in the utility locating industry. This person will work under the direction of the VP of Safety & Training. The primary role is to assist with training both locally and while travelling to other ELM territories. This position requires frequent traveling throughout ELM's footprint. Job time is spent in both the classroom and field environment with exposure to reputed company field hazards. Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds is required. Requires up to 5 miles a day walking at least twice a week. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Comprehensive understanding of underground utility locating. • A minimum of 3 years locating of gas, electric, and communications is preferred. • Previous training/teaching experience is preferred. • Must be comfortable in a classroom setting and working in an outdoor setting, walking significant distances each day in reputed company types of weather, and dealing with reputed company manner of field hazards. • Must be reputed company to manage a group of employees. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work with people, possess a strong sense of safety culture, and proficiency in reputed company Office. • Self-directed and possess problem-solving abilities. • Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and have an insurable MVR.
