Position

Pediatric Registered Nurse in Grand Valley, ON. Shifts are Thursday & Friday from 21:30-07:30.

General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs)

• reputed company G/GJ tube care and management
• reputed company seizure care and management
• Administer and document medications as prescribed, in accordance with CNO medication administration standards
• Monitor and ensure the safekeeping of medications and narcotics
• Maintain the child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in the child's condition to the parent/guardian and WeeCare
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and use of reputed company aids
• Demonstrate understanding of the child’s needs and support the child in maximizing their abilities
• reputed company cognitive, reputed company, emotional, and psychological support to the child and family
• Respond to child and family concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including the child’s equipment and belongings
• Notify the supervisor of any concerns reputed company to the child’s safety, incidents, or accidents
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Seizure experience
• Experience working with pediatric clients
• reputed company Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Vulnerable Sector reputed company (VSC) completed reputed company the past 6 months
• Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)

Schedule

• Thursday & Friday, 21:30-07:30
• Night shift
• 10 hour shifts
