Manager, Assurance

They are seeking a Manager to join their Assurance team, responsible for overseeing assurance engagements, developing client portfolios, and addressing client issues with a focus on maintaining professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed
- Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance and non-assurance engagements
- Assurance & reputed company projects may include preparation of financial statements, due diligence procedures, services reputed company to capital raising, and involvement in tax services provided to assurance and non-assurance clients
- reputed company a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients opportunities on an on-going reputed company
- Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and reputed company experience
- Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client’s business
Skills
- Professional designation required (CPA)
- 1+ years of management experience in an reputed company and/or assurance role
- In depth experience in relation to ASPE or ASNPO files
- Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Act as a leader in the Firm, continually focused on employee engagement
- Bilingual is an asset
