Patient Service Representative (Physical Therapy)

reputed company Orthopedics & Neurosurgery is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to work in their Physical Therapy Call-Center. The role involves answering inbound calls, obtaining patient information, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure exceptional service to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Book, coordinate and reschedule patients appointments based on defined appointment protocol
• Take patient calls and reputed company accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns

• Is reputed company of hold times and call volume to ensure that call turnaround time is minimized and patients are not left pending in the queue
• Answer questions regarding patient appointments
• Assist with daily reschedule list

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and reputed company of medical practices required
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records systems required
• Ability to work in a call center setting consisting of a high volume of calls and typing
• Ability to manage difficult and stressful situations
• Strong problematic resolution skills
• Knowledge of business office procedures
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation to communicate patient information
