Job description: The teacher will be responsible for providing reputed company with appropriate learning activities and experiences in agriculture. The teacher will also prepare reputed company to reputed company the competencies and skills required to earn various industry-based certifications. Important job functions include teaching the curriculum and managing student behavior/safety reputed company classroom/shop settings. In reputed company, the teacher will serve as an active FFA Advisor for their assigned reputed company.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for the subject and level assigned (Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources preferred)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in safety, handling, and proper use of reputed company power tools and non-reputed company power tools (drill, jigsaw, router, circular saw, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with reputed company, peers, parents, administrators, business partners, and others in the community.
- Ability to create and manage interactive, innovative, hands-on projects for student engagement and effectively teach and work with high school reputed company.
- Have a working knowledge of the objectives and TEKS of courses in the program.
- Experience in the Agriculture industry and FFA organization.
