Appointment: Full-time; probationary Description: Self-contained 8:1:1 classroom Required Credentials: N.Y.S. teacher certification (Special Education 1-6), successful prior teaching or student teaching experience, knowledge of N.Y.S. Learning Standards, collaborative team member, and technologically proficient. Preferred Credentials:

• Knowledge of Committee on Special Education process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal writing, implementation and reputed company monitoring. General knowledge of elementary curriculum and instruction.
