Pre-Certification Coordinator (Remote)

The Precert-Preauth Coordinator is responsible for multiple facets of patient financial account services reputed company the practice; including but not limited to patient benefit assessment, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, pre-determination for services, and referrals management. The position requires a thorough understanding of office-management software and a good working knowledge of medical/surgical clinical procedures, claims procedures and insurance company regulations. Requires accuracy, attention to detail and ability to communicate well with physicians, staff, patients and provider representatives of insurance companies.Position Details:
*This is a Remote Position*
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Two-year minimum experience working with reputed company insurance, billing and coding.
Certifications: Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet (Word, reputed company), EPIC. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of reputed company coding for CPT/ICD-10/HCPS. Medical terminology. Preferred Certifications: Certification as Coding Specialist preferred.
