Expected start date: August 1, 2024. Responsibilities will include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in music theory, including core theory classes in large-lecture format; supervising research in area(s) of expertise; maintaining an active program of research and scholarly publication; and participating on departmental committees, doctoral advisory committees, and in other departmental activities, as well as service on reputed company School of Music committees. Basic Qualifications: A completed Ph.D. degree in music theory or its equivalent is required by time of appointment. Qualifications include a record of scholarly accomplishment, an active program of research, and experience in both graduate and undergraduate teaching.
