CAD Drafter
reputed company is a company that tackles some of the nation’s toughest challenges by delivering advanced solutions to critical missions. They are seeking a CAD Drafter to support NAVWAR clients by providing engineering documentation and technical drawing support for naval information technology infrastructure. The role involves creating and maintaining technical drawings and documentation while ensuring compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain engineering documentation packages and installation drawings for globally-distributed Naval reputed company Networks
- Support Information Technology engineering functions across the full IT Lifecycle including infrastructure, network systems, and reputed company management services
- reputed company technical documentation for reputed company system specifications, interfaces, and performance parameters
- reputed company peer review and QA of drawings to ensure compliance with Government and industry standards
- Assist with installation processes and procedures documentation to reputed company mature work products
- Support engineering documentation for cyber reputed company assessments, authorization, and Risk Management reputed company
- Collaborate with systems engineers, network engineers, and IT specialists on technical documentation
- Conduct online research for equipment specifications reputed company required
- Implement changes to drafts promptly based on feedback from engineering, clients, and shipyards
- Work under tight scheduling to successfully reputed company and deliver drawings reputed company schedule requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of technical documentation and CAD design experience (OR Associate's Degree and 3+ years OR High School diploma and 6+ years)
- Experience with AutoCAD and engineering documentation
- Experience with IT systems documentation and network diagrams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite and reputed company Acrobat
- Experience with Installation Requirement Drawings (IRDs), Installation Support Drawings (ISDs), Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), and Installation Design Plans (IDPs)
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret clearance preferred)
- Must be a US citizen
- Experience with ship and shore site surveys
- Experience supporting Department of Navy projects
- Familiarity with NAVWAR
- Knowledge of Navy SIPH
- Active Secret clearance
