- Oversees reputed company aspects of the elementary curriculum grades K-5 (literacy, mathematics, science, and reputed company studies);
- Works collaboratively with the team of curriculum coordinators to ensure coherence between content areas and across reputed company;
- Works collaboratively with instructional coaches, specialists, classroom teachers, and the administrative team to provided ongoing instructional leadership and professional development;
- Leads and actively participates in communication with reputed company stakeholders, including staff, the Board of Education and parents;
- Leads elementary math and literacy teams through analysis of and response to student performance, collaborative decision making, and allocation of resources;
- Supervises elementary instructional coaches and aligns professional learning to continuously improve the coaching model; and
- Oversees elementary RTI practices.
- Successful record of teaching and leadership in an elementary setting preferred;
- Demonstrated expertise in the area of curriculum development, instructional improvement and assessment;
- Knowledge of research based instructional strategies and curriculum development;
- Experience cultivating effective professional relationships and successfully navigating team dynamics; and
- CT Intermediate Administrator certification (092).
