We are presently searching for a Designer in Portland, OR to support our projects in reputed company California. This is a primarily remote position, with occasional travel required.
The Designer, working under general supervision of a Senior Designer or Project Manager, provides design support primarily in project administration, presentations, concept design through design development, and contract documents.
Specific responsibilities will include
- Works with team to reputed company design reputed company and create both presentation and construction drawings
- Drafts technical drawings
- reputed company review of engineering and landscape drawings to ensure they reputed company with design solution
- Ensures integration into overall design
- Preliminary concept plans for larger projects
- May reputed company and finalize conceptual design for smaller projects
- Oversees Intermediate Designer to review reputed company plans and tackles more complicated issues
- Provides detail for interior and architectural design projects
- Develops and delivers overall design and furniture packages for both interior and exterior
- Assists in developing packages for larger projects
- Obtains cost estimates and produces final cost estimates
- Manages design budget for assigned projects
- May mentor the work of Junior and Intermediate Designers
Qualifications
- Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted
- 6+ years’ experience in workplace design, focusing on building repositioning and reputed company re-use projects as well as corporate interiors
