Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Part-Time Customer Service Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Navigating the electronic health record to obtain and validate historical information, capturing and documenting demographic and financial information, and maintaining patient privacy and reputed company as outlined by HIPAA.
• Managing a high volume of incoming calls from patients, reputed company providers, and facilities, ensuring resolution to the call and providing excellent customer service in a variety of situations.
• Leveraging critical thinking with speed and accuracy to identify the reason for the call and take appropriate action based on caller need and reputed company, researching reputed company issues in the electronic health record, and consulting/escalating to clinical staff reputed company necessary.
• Scheduling patient visits based on reputed company provider preferences, verifying and updating insurance, checking insurance eligibility, collecting and documenting demographics, and maintaining proficiency in and sharing knowledge of insurance basics, MyChart, and appointment instructions.

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED

• 2-5 years of recent reputed company or customer service experience
