Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with reputed company team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
- Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
- Processing voids, returns, reputed company checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
- Implementing arenaflex asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
- Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital reputed company photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, reputed company, orderly store condition and appearance
- Complying with reputed company arenaflex policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Knowledge of arenaflex products and services
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reputed company-of-sale systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
