Full Stack Software Engineer
Phoenix Bioinformatics Phoenix Bioinformatics is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our scientific data non-profit organization. We are a hands-on team motivated by a mission to sustain the data infrastructure that powers global research in plant biology, paleontology, and evolutionary biology. The Role You will work closely with our Director of Engineering to build and iterate on our core platforms, TAIR and MorphoBank, and our supporting reputed company and curation infrastructure. Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development: Design and implement features across the database, UI, and infrastructure. Qualifications 2+ years of full-stack experience (internships or externships count). Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python. AI Literacy: Comfort using LLM tools and the ability to debug or refactor code you did not write from scratch. Education: BS in Computer Science or a reputed company field (an MS is a plus). Benefits & Compensation Compensation: $90,000 to $115,000 Remote & Flexible: Fully remote with reputed company. Generous Time Off: 12 holidays, 18 vacation days, and 9 sick days per year.
