External Systems Operations Engineer (Remote, B2B, EU-based) We are looking for a skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join one of our clients - a leading fintech company specializing in payment processing, as a full-time B2B contractor (remote, EU-based).
Responsibilities
Operate and support scheduled system jobs and data integration processes Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and data pipelines to ensure reliable daily operations Set up proactive monitoring, alerts, and health checks for operational issues Investigate job failures, data conversion errors, and system inconsistencies reputed company incident analysis, escalation, and recovery in cooperation with internal teams Document operational processes, runbooks, and monitoring standards Preferred Technical Skills Experience with job schedulers and automation tools (e.g. VisualCron, Control‑M, cron) Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases Familiarity with file‑based integrations (FTP/SFTP, CSV/XML/JSON processing) Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring, and alerting tools Solid understanding of production operations, incident handling, and root cause analysis Project Details Type: Full-time, B2B, remote Project Length: Long-term Hiring Process 30–45 min Technical Interview with Softup Technical Interview with the Client Interested? reputed company!
