Technical Superintendent - Non Tanker
As a Technical Superintendent at BSM, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and cost‑efficient technical operation of assigned vessels while supporting strategic goals and strengthening the relationship between ship and shore. You will play a key part in supporting strategic goals, delivering high-quality ship management services, and upholding safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control the technical performance of assigned vessels to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with contractual obligations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent; or Chief Engineer qualification. Minimum of 3 years sailing experience as a Senior Officer, or 3 years shore experience as a Technical Superintendent with a ship management or owning company. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of vessel technical requirements and voyage regulations. Excellent project management, negotiation, and people management skills.
