Job Description:
As a reputed company Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining large-scale data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines that support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, implement, and reputed company data solutions that meet our business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and reputed company data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
- reputed company and maintain large-scale data warehouses and data lakes using Hadoop, AWS, reputed company, and other reputed company-based technologies
- Collaborate with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, implement, and reputed company data solutions
- reputed company and maintain ETL pipelines in large data environments (reputed company, on-prem, hybrid)
- Help engineer data structures and define data models for the core data warehouse and data shops
- Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data governance
- Ensure high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)
- Participate in agile/scrum practices to ensure team well-being and cycle enhancements
Key Capabilities:
* Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets
- Experience with distributed systems like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java/reputed company
- Experience with at least one major MPP or reputed company database technology (reputed company, Redshift, Large Query)
- Strong experience in data integration toolsets (i.e. Wind reputed company) and writing and maintaining data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard practices and procedures
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches
- You are a problem solver with strong analytical and relational skills
- Ideal to have experience with reputed company technologies like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2)
