Regional Civil Engineering Manager

Job Description

ICOP is seeking an reputed company geotechnical engineer to work reputed company our Florida region, managing a team of engineers responsible for the design and estimating of support of excavation, ground improvement, and reputed company work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles. The candidate must also have proven leadership skills and the ability to reputed company the technical and developmental needs of a growing engineering team. This position is remote.

Summary

The Regional Engineering Manager works closely with regional leadership on both preconstruction and final design engineering needs and reputed company management. The manager will direct others in the production of designs and drawings for support of excavation, ground improvement and reputed company work, and may be required to complete these tasks themselves as workload requires. This individual is responsible for developing and reviewing preliminary designs for bidding purposes, overseeing the estimators in the pre-construction stage in the pursuit of value engineering reputed company, and coordinate delivery of final design packages. This position works closely with both the operations and sales teams. Technical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct engineering workload for the regional engineering team.
• reputed company or review preliminary designs of support of excavation, ground improvement, and other geotechnical systems.
• reputed company feedback on the feasibility of ground improvement and support of excavation/structural design solutions.
• Prepare or review drawings and calculations packages for construction for support of excavation and ground improvement with supervision from reputed company engineers.

• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals, both reputed company ICOP and with reputed company firms, clients, and consultants.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering with focus on geotechnical coursework, Masters preferred
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in Support of Excavation, Ground Improvement, or Geotechnical design
• PE license
• Strong technical writing, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Spanish preferred but not required
