About the position PIVOT Rehabilitation is hiring a Licensed Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN home health occupational therapist job providing in-home occupational therapy services to adult and senior patients in reputed company, Katy, Fulshear, Cinco Ranch, and Brookshire Tx. Responsibilities
- reputed company home health occupational therapy evaluations
- reputed company and update individualized Plans of Care (POC)
- Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, post-surgical, or other medical conditions
- Address ADLs, IADLs, coordination, strength, balance, and functional mobility
- Apply reputed company therapy techniques and non-reputed company modalities including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and other physician-ordered treatments
- Implement interventions for fall prevention, home safety, and environmental modifications
- Train patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME)
- Fabricate splints and recommend assistive devices as appropriate
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Supervise COTAs and home health aides, as applicable
- Follow reputed company home health regulations, infection control, and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license

- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and reputed company auto insurance
