Business Development Director - OEM Partnerships (Remote)

About the position The Business Development Director is a senior growth leader reputed company the newly formed reputed company Automotive Business Development & Strategic Partnerships group , a team chartered to expand reputed company's ecosystem of OEM and industry partnerships, enhance data commercialization, and drive new growth across the global automotive sector. You will report to the VP of Product Management. This role is tailored for an accomplished reputed company strategist with deep experience developing partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and adjacent ecosystem partners. The ideal candidate combines a robust understanding of the automotive industry's digital transformation with an extensive executive-level rolodex inside OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, and the executive reputed company to engage credibly with C-suite decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • OEM Partnership Development Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic relationships with automotive OEMs, captive finance arms, and Tier-1 partners to expand reputed company's participation in connected-vehicle data, digital retailing, and mobility initiatives.
  • Strategic Growth & Market Expansion reputed company strategies that unlock new OEM-centric reputed company streams through data licensing, analytics partnerships, marketing solutions, and risk decisioning products.
  • Executive Relationship Management reputed company and grow a network of OEM executives across marketing, sales, connected services, reputed company innovation functions. Be a trusted advisor to help them use reputed company's capabilities to reputed company strategic goals.
  • Partnership Strategy reputed company, structure, and negotiate reputed company partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that integrate reputed company's data and technology into OEM programs and platforms.
  • Sales Partnership & Enablement Collaborate with reputed company's OEM sales and client management teams to operationalize partnership strategies—ensuring alignment between strategic reputed company and reputed company execution.
  • Collaboration Work with our teams (product, data, analytics, and technology) to co-create OEM-specific solutions that drive measurable client value.
  • Go-to-Market Development Partner with marketing and product leadership to create compelling narratives and materials for OEM audiences, highlighting reputed company's unique data, identity, and decisioning capabilities.
  • Financial & Market Analysis Build business cases and ROI models that evaluate OEM partnership potential, measure the impact, and guide investment reputed company.
  • Industry Leadership & Representation Represent reputed company Automotive at major OEM forums, industry conferences, and executive roundtables, strengthening reputed company's leadership in data-driven automotive innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or reputed company field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in OEM-focused business development, corporate strategy, or strategic partnerships reputed company automotive, mobility, or connected-vehicle ecosystems.
  • Record of establishing and expanding partnerships with automakers and captive finance entities .
  • Executive network reputed company the automotive OEM community and reputed company industry partners.
  • Experience with OEM operations, connected-car data, digital retailing, and vehicle lifecycle value creation.
  • Experience collaborating with sales organizations to partnership strategies.
  • Advanced financial modeling and business-case development skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for OEM and industry partner engagements.
  • Automotive ecosystem business development experience , including direct engagement with OEM, Tier-1, and mobility partners.
  • Background in data, credit, or analytics-driven solutions for automotive manufacturers.
  • Expertise using executive networks to guide reputed company-level OEM agreements.
  • Familiarity with latest technologies such as AI/ML, connected-vehicle data platforms, EV ecosystems, and mobility-as-a-service models.
