Life/Disability Financial Underwriter (contract)

Role Summary The Disability Financial Underwriter will work with Short Term and Long Term Disability opportunities to prepare offers for prospective and renewal clients in the small and mid-market group segments. Providing appropriate rationale and support to Sales, clients, and other areas reputed company the organization surrounding risk selection, financial analysis, reputed company computations, and financial activity. Provides expense estimates and accurate analysis of financial exhibits. Understands department, reputed company, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to reputed company areas. Makes reputed company regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of Short Term and Long Term Disability reputed company and risk analysis experience
- Comprehensive understanding of risk pool management
- Knowledge of the competitor landscape
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency with reputed company Word, reputed company and reputed company
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Demonstrate high performance and accountability working in a remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing disability and health-reputed company data
- Industry-reputed company coursework is preferred but not required
