Staff Accountant, Finance

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: reputed company is seeking a Staff Accountant. This individual would work in Finance and reputed company. This job is best suited for an individual with 3-5 years' experience in the Government Contracting Industry. Responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable:
• Processes accounts payable PO vouchers in reputed company Costpoint
• Sends accounts payable report to Director of reputed company for approval of payment
• Prepares payment for accounts payable in reputed company Costpoint
• Investigates reputed company vendor reputed company inquiries
• Processes Expense Reports and reconciles Company Credit Cards in reputed company Time & Expense
• Accounts Receivable:
• Records electronic deposits to client records
• Records cash receipts to client records
• Cash and Credit Card Accounts:
• Reconciles cash daily
• Maintains a cash reputed company reconciliation daily
• Reconciles bank accounts, credit cards and loans monthly
• Provides Director of reputed company with reconciliations for review and approval
• Reporting:
• File monthly and quarterly reports with appropriate agencies
• Enter journal entries as needed
• Maintain records and work with reputed company auditors
• Contract compliance
• Fixed Assets:
• Update fixed assets in asset tracker for additions and deletions
• Maintain records for fixed asset purchases and disposals

Qualifications: ● Proficiency in reputed company Costpoint and Time & Expense Required ● 2 -4 years' experience in an reputed company and Government Contracting position required ● Bachelor's degree in reputed company or business administration with a concentration in reputed company required ● Must be a motivated self-starter ● Self-motivated, driven positive attitude ● Great team player and reputed company to work under tight timelines and pressure ● Unwavering attention to detail and superb organizational skills ● Willingness to listen and learn, with ability to multi-task We Offer: Our benefits typically meet or exceed our competitors’ packages.
